Hammer Heads, a series for HGTV, takes building way beyond the basics, with artistry, ingenuity, style and skill.


 

Do you have an awkward, unused room that you don't know how to fix? Why not let Hammer Heads transform it into a stylish, functional space! Boring backyard? Let Hammer Heads create a beautiful outdoor living space with built-in benches, or a one-of-a-kind fireplace. Whatever your problem space is, we can handle it — and we might even teach you something along the line! Professional builder Steve Hanneman and his trusty team are ready to tackle any creative project you've been dreaming of, so bring it on!
 
We’re looking for energetic homeowners in the Los Angeles area with plans or ideas for creative builds for their home. Whatever the stage of your project, we’ll jump in to saw, sand, nail and paint our way to finish it… with your help! Here’s what we provide: a $2000 materials budget (which we encourage you to contribute to), PLUS the expertise and handiwork of our top-notch builders!!!


Requirements:

  • Be a homeowner within 30 miles of our North Hollywood offices (LA zip code 91607).

  • Be willing to let our design team have free reign over the project.

  • Be available, for shooting purposes, for four full days during the work week.

  • Be willing to participate in the building of your project.
