Competitive drama and great design take center stage in this series of specials for HGTV.

It's season 3 and the battle for design supremacy is back to rock HGTV! HGTV Showdown is the design competition show that features HGTV's top talent pairing up to plan and execute a winning design in less than 6 hours for one lucky homeowner. Then the homeowners get $10,000 to recreate the design at home.

Hosted by award-winning designer Jamie Durie, Season 3 begins airingSundays at 10 p.m. ET/PT, 9 p.m. CT June 28 and running through July 19.

Durie will guide viewers through the battle royale. We start by creating two replicas of the homeowner's design-challenged space -- from the outdated furniture to the ratty carpeting. Next, two top notch design teams, each comprised of one designer and a builder or landscaping expert, must race to create and execute a knockout design in less than 6 hours! When time runs out it's up to the homeowners to decide who will be the Shodown champion. So gear up and buckle in, it's time for a Showdown!
